The country's Border Guard Commander Brigadier General Qassem Rezaei said at the meeting, 'Given the enemies and global arrogance's movements and sinister plots in some neighboring countries and the region, interaction between the country's armed forces needs to be enhanced so that the existing power is best utilized.'
Iran's armed forces are today united under the guidance of the Supreme Leader, use all their capacity to address and monitor every single issue and discharge their duties properly, Rezaei added.
He went on to say, 'If need be, we will use the capabilities of other armed forces all over shared borders with neighboring countries.'
The commander considered Iran's security, authority, progress and dignity a blessing of the blood of the martyrs and said, 'Backed by the wise leadership of the Supreme commander-in-chief Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and thanks to the vigilance of the security, the military and police forces, the Islamic Republic Establishment and the Islamic Revolution will cut off hand of aggressors.'
Rezaei added the commanders and forces stationed in the borders of Taybad in Khorasan Razavi Province and other border areas of the country protect the borders with all their strength round the clock.
Meeting the head of Sunni tribes from some cities in Razavi Khorasan was among other plans of Border Guard Commander's visit to Taybad.
Razavi Khorasan is one of the eastern provinces of Iran with 300 kilometers of shared border with Afghanistan.
From time to time, Iran's border with Afghanistan witnesses violence, mayhem, and chaos caused by border intruders from the neighboring country.

Mashad, Dec 18, IRNA - Iran's border guard commanders and Army Ground Forces met in the border town of Taybad in northeastern Iran on Tuesday to explore ways of enhancing readiness of the armed forces in the eastern borders of the country.
