Addressing the funeral procession of martyrs of the terror attack in Hilla, Iraq, on Wednesday, he added that Shia Muslims are ready for martyrdom and making sacrifices for the sake of God and Imam Hossein (AS), grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Noting that matyrdom has never been an strange issue for the Shia Muslims and they have always welcomed death for the sake of God, intelligence minister said that the Shia Muslims will never succumb to the enemies, as Imam Hossein (AS) considered dignified death better than humiliated life.
'Our response to the arrogant powers, Zionists and Saudis and Daesh terrorists is 'humiliation is away from us,' he said.
The catastrophe in Hilla marked another disgrace for the enemies of Islam, he said.
Interior Minister Abderreza Rahmani-Fazli also attended the funeral ceremony in Ahvaz.
The terror attack in Iraq last Thursday left over 70 pilgrims killed and several wounded. Some 37 were laid to rest in Ahvaz today.
Intelligence and interior ministers represented the government in the ceremony while a delegation representing Supreme Leader also attended the event.
