Iran shooter earns 1st 2020 Summer Olympics quota

Tehran, April 23, IRNA – Iranian shooter Najmeh Khedmati standing in the 5th place in the world cup received the first 2020 Summer Olympics quota.

The 2020 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad and commonly known as Tokyo 2020, is an upcoming international multi-sport event that is scheduled to take place from July 24 to August 9, 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.

Khedmati ranked 5th in air-pistol category of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup which is underway in Beijing China.

The ISSF World Cup is underway with the attendance of 588 athletes from 67 countries.

Ahmadi and Jam Bozorg have also received two Olympic quotas in shooting field.
