Azerbaijan Republic keen on cooperation with Iran

Baku, April 19, IRNA -- Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev said on Thursday that there are numerous capacities for boosting cooperation with Iran which should be used jointly.

Talking to IRNA at the end of his meeting with Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani, he added that Iran-Azerbaijan ties will improve successfully and currently, their interaction is at the highest level.

He further noted that positive course of bilateral ties is the result of strong resolve of the two countries’ officials.

Azeri minister said that he discussed capacities for cooperation in the fields of industry and trade with the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani.

“Iran-Azerbaijan joint automaking factory is operating successfully and we are sure that production of autobus will also be successful,” he said.

“We also discussed implementation of certain joint economic projects to help economic relations make remarkable progress,” he said.

Rahmani arrived in Baku on Thursday on a two-day official visit to explore avenues for enhancing the two countries’ cooperation and implementing economic projects.
