Some domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

Tehran, March 31, IRNA – Heavy rainfalls and bad weather cancelled some of domestic flights in Iran, including flights from southwestern city of Ilam to northeastern city of Mashad and vice versa and a flight from capital Tehran to Sanandaj in western country.

Iran Airports Company issued a statement on Sunday calling on the passengers to check their flight status before going to airport.

Heavy rainfalls triggered devastating floods in the very first days of Iran's New Year killing at least 42 people across the country.

A new wave of rainfalls affected different parts of Iran on Sunday which will continue for a couple of days.
