Iran's Int’l astronomical training course held in Bushehr

Bushehr, March 13, IRNA - Iran's first astronomy training course of Network for Astronomy School Education (NASE) ended on Wednesday at the University of the Persian Gulf, Bushehr.

The president of the University of the Persian Gulf said the course was held for four days with joint hosting by Mehr Observatory and the Persian Gulf University of Bushehr.

Abdul Majid Mosleh added that the first NASE astronomy training course in Iran was held with the participation of two international astronomy lecturers (Rosa Maria), a professor at the University of Barcelona and the head of the NASE Institute and Corina Toma (professor at the University of Cluj, Romania).

Mosleh said the course was attended by more than 50 teachers and astronomers across the country at the University of the Persian Gulf and the course was held as practical teaching of astronomical and educational tools with the aim of establishing a training network with its center in the Middle East and eventually certificates of NASE astronomy education were issued for participants of this course.
