Iran, Cuba sign several cooperation documents

Madrid, Jan 18, IRNA – Iranian and Cuban officials on Thursday signed several documents for cooperation in various fields.

The Iranian and Cuban officials, in a bid to strengthen relations, signed the documents for cooperation in the fields of economy, technology, biotechnology, agriculture, sport and trade.

The cooperation documents were signed after the end of two countries' Joint Economic Cooperation Commission session in Havana.

Iranian Deputy Health Minister Mohsen Assadi Lari, who heads the Iranian delegation, held meetings with several Cuban officials, including the country's deputy health minister and vice chairman and minister of trade and foreign investment of Cuba.

Iran’s deputy health, treatment and medical education minister arrived in Havana late Tuesday.

Head of Pastor Institute and representatives from Export Guarantee Fund of Iran and Foreign Ministry officials accompanied deputy health minister during his trip to Havana.
