Markazi Province's small industries export over $ 16 Million

Arak, Jan 12, IRNA - Managing Director of Markazi Province’s Townships Company said that 16 million and 200,000 dollars worth of goods have been exported to different parts of the world from the beginning of this current Iranian year (starting in March 21) to date from the small and average scales industries based in the industrial townships and industrial areas of the province.

Mustafa Amereh added, 'The weight of the goods exported from Markazi Province's small industries is estimated at more than 24,957 tons.

The official reiterated, 'Most of the goods have been exported to different parts of the world from Markazi Province are from units located in the industrial cities of Kheyrabad Arak, Delijan, Khomein, Aybak Abad, Arak, and Shahid Babaei industrial zone.

Amereh noted, 'Most of goods from small industries based in the townships and industrial areas of this province were exported to Iraq, Turkey and Afghanistan.

He said that now the consortium for the export of stones, oil and gas have begun their activities in the province, and a consortium of construction and management export companies is in the process of being launched.
