Iran advises nationals not to travel to Georgia due to swine flu

Tehran, Jan 12, IRNA – Iran Foreign Ministry in a statement advised Iranians to avoid unnecessary trips to Goergia due to spread of swine flu there.

The Georgian official sources confirmed that 14 people have so far been killed by swine influenza.

Spread of swine influenza has caused closing of kindergartens, schools and universities.

Earlier on Friday, Apuseni news website announced that Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia urged some universities like Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University and art university to remain closed until January 21.

Georgia is a favorite tour destination for many Iranians.
