Unity necessity of Islamic world today: Ambassador

Belgrade, Dec 10, IRNA – Iran’s ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina said in a special program held in Sarajevo to pay tribute to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) that the return of the unity is the necessity of the Islamic world today.

“Takfiri current and terrorist ideology has no relations with the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad,” said Mahmoud Heidari on Sunday.

Husein Kavazović, The Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, described the characteristics of Prophet from Quran verses and thanked Iran’s ambassador for his presence as the representative of the brother and friendly nation.

The Bosnian Islamic scholar Haji Milic thanked Iranian ambassador for his attendance in the ceremony and appreciated the support of Iranian government and people for Bosnia and Herzegovina since its independence.

He stressed that the Bosnian and Herzegovinian people can freely participate in religious programs held in mosques and tekieh (a place where religious mourning rituals are held) throughout the country.
