First Medal of UNESCO National Commission for Mohammad Ali Movahed

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA - UNESCO praises a lifetime cultural effort by prominent Iranian author Mohammad Ali Movahed.

Commemoration ceremony of Movahed thanks to the UNESCO-Iranian National Commission, for hailing seven decades of cultural and literary services is being held in University of Tehran on December 18, attended by Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Minister of Culture, Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and other officials.

Movahed a lawyer and a member of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, is an historian who has always spent his life in research, compiled, and translated and has researched in mystical texts, especially the critical printing of Shams-e- Tabrizi articles.
