Iran, Romania hold joint cultural exhibition

Belgrade, Dec 7, IRNA – A joint cultural exhibition of Iran and Romania kicked off in the Romanian capital on Thursday.

The Iran-Romania Dialogue of Cultures Exhibition will be held in Bucharest Village Museum until December 20.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Iran’s ambassador to Romania Morteza Abutalebi said that art and culture play a significant role in showing the cultural similarities of nations and are important instruments for promotion of peace, cooperation and dialogue in the world.

He noted that focusing on similarities would lead to a mutual understanding and realizing the differences.

Ambassadors of Indonesia, Tunisia, Algeria and Jordan, as well as officials from Romania Chamber of Commerce and the heads of a numbers of Romanian think tanks and other well-known figures of the country visited the exhibition.
