Caspian Innovation Conference 2018 started in Baku

Baku, Dec 5, IRNA – The Caspian Innovation Conference 2018 started with the attendance of Iranian Minister of Communication Mohammad-Javad Azari-Jahromi in the capital city of Baku, Azerbaijan.

The event kicked off at the same time with the 24th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and Technologies Exhibition 'Bakutel-2018'.

The conference is themed 'digital connectivity for sustainable development'.

Communication ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania and Afghanistan also are present the event.

The conference mainly focuses on broadband connectivity, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), E-services delivery, ICT based startups and innovative SMEs, 4th Industrial Revolution and knowledge-based manufacturing, Cybersecurity Readiness, etc.

The 24th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and Technologies Exhibition 'Bakutel-2018' opened Tuesday. It will be wrapped up on December 7.

The exhibition is underway with the attendance of 200 companies from 20 countries.
