Religious minorities set to commemorate 40th victory anniversary of Islamic Revolution

Tehran, Dec 4, IRNA – Referring to the peaceful coexistence of religious minorities along with other Iranian people in the country, the deputy head of the Council of Coordination on Islamic Propagation said on Tuesday that the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution will be commemorated by the religious minorities.

Nasrollah Lotfi made the remarks during a meeting where the working group tasked with coordinating religious minorities for the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution convened in Tehran.

With the new threats and cruel sanctions against Iran by the US and other hegemonistic powers, the unity and solidarity of Iranian people from all walks of life is of special significance, Lotfi said.

He said that coordinating the ceremonies of this year’s victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution should be seen as war management.

Noting that the enemies have targeted all the people living within the Iranian borders without any exceptions, Lotfi said that all the religious minorities and the followers of divine religions living in Iran need to join hands to leave behind the obstacles.
