Tehran, Tunisia stress media cooperation, journalists education

Tehran, Nov 13, IRNA - Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance’s Press Deputy in a meeting with the head of the Tunisian news agency and the accompanying delegation emphasized on deepening Iran's media relations, especially in the field of training for journalists.

At the meeting, which was held at the press office building, Mohammad Soltanifar proposed that, given the cost of building a media office in every country, the desk related to Tunisia and interested countries would be present in Iran, would be set up in the official media outlets of Iran and in return, the Islamic Republic of Iran's desk in the official media of relevant countries for precise dissemination by using journalists sent abroad, the dissemination vacuum in different fields will also be removed and costs will be substantially reduced.

“Fortunately, changes and developments in Tunisia have not led to a decline in the relations between the two countries”, he said, pointing to the history of the two countries' interactions in political and economic fields as well as holding joint meetings.
Press Deputy told the head of Tunisian news agency, 'Tunisia has always made the least tension for Iran among Arab countries, and we welcome the development of cultural - media relations with you', expressing regret over the lack of Tunisian media’s presence in Iran.
