Israel unable to impose new balances on Gaza: Palestinian expert

Ramallah, May 30, IRNA – The Zionist regime of Israel is incapable of imposing new balances on Gaza, said Mohammad Mosaleheh, Palestinian journalist, in a recent interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Since the early hours on Tuesday, Israel has launched a new Wave of attacks on the Gaza Strip, targeting the surveillance positions belonged to the Resistance forces near the eastern borders of Gaza.

The Israeli attacks have so far resulted in the killing of fighters affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Al-Qassam Brigades, the military branch of Hamas.

The Palestinian resistance forces in retaliation to the Israeli attacks have responded with rockets and mortars, targeting Zionist settlements in the Occupied Territories.

'Currently, there are other regional and international players and the Zionist regime is not free, like the past, to do whatever it wants,' Mosaleheh said.

The expert on Zionism issues also argued that Tel Aviv, in order to avoid being forced to pay the prices of his actions, tries not to take uncalculated steps.

'Israel is increasingly taking seriously the statements by the Resistance and they know that now the resistance has adopted an approach to respond proportionately to any attacks by the Zionists,' he stressed.

That is why the Israelis repeatedly say Tel Aviv is not after war with the Palestinians, he added.
