Azerbaijan starts issuing visa for Iranian citizens

Baku, May 15, IRNA – Azerbaijan Republic began to issue visa on Tuesday for citizens of 15 countries, including Iran, through digital visa system in Baku International Airport of Haidar Aliyev.

Head of Public Services Institute of 'Asan Khedmat' Alvi Mehdiev said foreign citizens of these states are to pay 20 dollars at the airport for visa charge.

He added that issuing visa for Japan citizens are free, for Turkey is 10 dollars and for the rest of countries will be 20 dollars.

Mehdiev said currently 14 electronic terminals have been installed at the Baku International Airport in seven languages of Farsi, Turkey, English, French, Arabic, Russian and Spanish.

Citizens from Iran, Indonesia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Malaysia, the Zionist regime, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey and Japan may receive their visa at the aforementioned airport.

Issuing visa through digital system is to be started in three other international airports of Azerbaijan Republic in one month time.

Azerbaijan Republic gave priority to development of tourism in recent years as its economic activities.
