President Rouhani receives new Estonian ambassador

Tehran, May 15, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani received Estonia's new accredited Ambassador to Iran Marin Motes on Tuesday.

In a ceremony, the ambassador submitted her credentials to President Rouhani.

In the meeting, President underlined the necessity for resistance of the Europe against the illogical move of the US to spread its domestic laws to the rest of world, and said that Iran can only stay in Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) if it can fully benefit from it.

Rouhani pointed to friendly and sincerel relations between Iran and Estonia, and said that Iran is ready for all-out development of ties and mutual cooperation.

He said that consultation and cooperation between the two countries in international circles and organizations is so important, and added that there exists good capacities and capabilities in different sectors of trade and economic between Iran and Estonia, which should be used by maximum.

There is no obstacle in the way of developing friendly ties between Iran and Estonia, Rouhani said, and underlined necessity to bolster bilateral ties in different sections of science, culture, economic and tourism.

The Estonian new accredited envoy called relations between the two countries positive and pointed to plenty of capacities for developing bilateral ties and called for Iranian investors and economic activists' presence in Estonia.

She also underlined efforts of Estonia, as one of European Union members, to protect and continue JCPOA.
