US makes no attempt for JCPOA implementation: Envoy

Tehran, April 28, IRNA – Since the beginning of Iran nuclear deal, the US has made no attempt for the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran envoy to France said.

Abolqasem Delfi made the remarks in an interview with French TV channel ‘Cnews’ while commenting on the prospects of Iran nuclear deal, the relations between Iran and France and issues related to the Middle East.

Elaborating on JCPOA and Tehran commitment to its article, Delfi said Iran nuclear program follows peaceful purposes and based on International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reports Iran has complied with its commitments under the JCPOA.

On the other hand, the US has taken no step in implementing Iran deal and has spared no effort in delaying the implementation of the deal, he said.

Europe's role in full implementation of the JCPOA and supporting their interests and also European firms’ participation in Iran market is of importance now, Delfi added.

Commenting on the relations between Iran and France, the Iranian envoy said Tehran has good ties with Paris at bilateral, regional and international levels.

France has respected JCPOA aspects and respected the deal, he added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Delfi pointed to Iran's role in the Middle East saying there are problems in the region which are related to the Middle East itself.

'We are ready to start negotiations on regional issues and security,' he noted.

Rejecting the conquering understanding of the interviewer of Iran, Delfi said, 'We are in Iraq and Syria on their government’s permission.'
