Envoy: Ghana to buy Iran-made agricultural machinery

Hamedan, April 26, IRNA – Ghanaian Ambassador to Iran Sayuti Yahaya Iddi said here on Thursday that his country is facing shortage of agricultural machineries, adding that Ghana is ready to purchase Hamadan made agricultural machineries.

He made the remarks during a visit to Hamedan province accompanied by a delegation.

The ambassador and the accompanying delegation visited factories of food products and manufacturing agricultural machinery.

He said Ghana has good capacities in agriculture, calling for establishing interaction and cooperation with Hamedan industries and factories.

Iddi called for importing agricultural machineries made in Hamedan within the framework of barter trade with agricultural crops like pineapple, banana and mango.

Hamedan Chamber of Commerce is a liaison office of Ghana Chamber of Commerce and introduces economic capabilities of Hamedan, facilitating mutual cooperation and preparing appropriate grounds for extra-territorial cultivation.

The Ghanaian delegation arrived in Hamedan on Wednesday afternoon.
