The Iranian team comprising 12 students in various courses of study as well as an educator arrived in Belgrade on April 19 to attend the 25th Olympiad of Young Scientists.
The Iranian team won one gold, two silver and one bronze medals in the category of engineering, one silver and one bronze in physics and two bronze medals in biology as well as a medal in poster presentation.
Sara Jalili-Shan won gold medal, Sara Shams, Zahra Nasiri and Fatemeh Jan-Mohammadi grabbed silver medals and Shiva Kazem-Beigi, Kiyana Ashouri, Yeganeh Fakhkhari and Aysa Rezaei won bronze medals and Ayda Doust-Mohammadi bagged medal for poster presentation.
