Five convicted Iranians delivered at zero border with Afghanistan

Tehran, April 16, IRNA – Deputy Justice Minister for human rights and international affairs Mahmoud Abbasi said on Monday that five convicted Iranians were handed in to the Iranian officials at zero border point with Afghanistan.

The move was within the framework of legal and judicial cooperation between the two countries.

Abbasi, who is head of the committee for transfer of convicts, said that that around 500 Afghan convicts are ready to be extradited to their country, adding, 'We are waiting for response of Afghan officials in this concern.'
