Iran Army slams US airstrikes on Syria

Tehran, April 15, IRNA – Iranian Army in a statement condemned the airstrike conducted Saturday by US and its allies on Syria.

The US, UK and France attack on Syria which was orchestrated following the fake allegations on using chemical weapons against Syrian people has been the text-book example of supporting terrorist groups, the statement reads.

'Whenever the terrorists have been involved in a dire condition in anti-terrorism fights in Syria and Iraq, the US together with some Western countries have entered the scene to compensate terrorists’ defeats.'

US officials while falsely claiming the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government, are the main suppliers of weapons to kill the Yemeni people and do not hesitate to commit any crimes in Afghanistan.

It is ridiculous and weird that these fake proponents of the supporting nations hide themselves behind the fake peace-seeking masks, read the statement.

Iranian Army once again removed the mask of inhumane and aggressive Global Arrogance led by the US government and depicted their submissive attempts to justify the successive defeats of the enemies of the free nations in the world.

The Syrian people will stand firmly against old-fashioned and repetitive tricks and tactics, the Iran Army said, adding that enemies of humanity will not benefit from unfair measures against Syrian people.

Iranian Army also underlined the vigilance, interaction and unity among Muslim nations and regional armies aimed at achieving more synergy and stressed the significance of continuous efforts among regional Muslim nations and the Resistance Front to reinforce defensive power to counter terrorism and their allies and also the necessity of taking rapid action against the so-called human rights advocates in line with slamming these criminal and anti-human actions.

The US together with its allies, the UK and France targeted the Syrian capital city of Damascus early Saturday.

The US attack on a military base in Homs, western Syria injured 3 civilians, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) earlier reported.
