Iran, Bosnia review ways to facilitate travel for citizens

Belgrade, March 17, IRNA – Director General for consulate affairs in Foreign Ministry Ali Chegini in a meeting with Bosnia-Herzegovina Deputy Foreign Minister for consular and legal affairs Frano Planinic reviewed ways to facilitate travel of citizens from both countries.

In the meeting, Iran's Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mahmoud Haidari was present as well.

Chegini underlined Iran's readiness for accepting Bosnian tourists and added that cultural commonalties between the two nations, which prepared the ground for exchanging tourists and facilitating issuance of visas, will increase economic relations as well.

The senior Bosnian diplomat expressed his country's interest in expanding ties with Iran, especially in the economic and trade domains.

Frano Planinic said Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Ministry is considering facilitating of visa issuance for the Iranian citizens and is coordinating with the related bodies in this concern.
