Charity Alpine Ski contest held in Iran

Karaj, March 12, IRNA – The Alpine ski competitions were held in Dizin ski resort, north of Tehran, said the manager of the resort.

The competitions were held in children, teenagers, youths and adults age categories, said Abdoreza Azhir on Friday.

The event was held by the United Nations Information Centre, Tehran, and Raika Tose’eh Kish Company.

Over 60 Iranian and foreigners residing in Iran took part in the event.

All the revenue made from the competitions will be allocated to the underdeveloped areas.

Dizin is the largest Iranian ski resort. It is located in the Alborz mountain range, about 70km North from Tehran.
