Many companies have thus far offered their proposals for feasibility studies to develop Asmari reserves of Karanj field. Contract per se will be signed by the National South Oil Company.
Early this week, Germany Wintershall Company's proposal for development of Dehloran field was approved by the committee.
After the JCPOA implementation in January 2016, talks were held with foreign companies for development of oil fields, leading to conclusion of about 30 agreements for studies on oil and gas fields.
Russian Lukoil, Indonesian Pertamina, Danish Maersk, Austrian OMV, Russian Gazprom Neft, German Winteershall, French Total, Anglo-Dutch Shell and Italian Eni are among companies with which contracts have been signed.
