Islamabad, Dec 7, IRNA - A senior Pakistani analyst has strongly criticized the US President Donald Trump for recognizing Holy Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel terming it as very dangerous.

In an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Lieutenant General (Retd) Talat Masood said that the decision has shown the prejudice of President Trump towards Muslim world.

“It is a very wrong move, it is very dangerous, against the UN resolutions, very unjust and very much tilted towards favoring Zionist Regime,” he said.

He added that the decision also shows that Trump is prepared to take certain decisions which are extremely against the interest of the people of Palestine and also the Muslim world.

“By recognizing Jerusalem as capital of Zionist Regime and shifting embassy over there he has completely overruled the UN resolutions,” noted the analyst.

Talat Masood expressing his views said it is a unilateral decision which completely favors the Zionist regime and works against the fundamental interests of the Palestinians.

“I think in every way it shows the Prejudice of President Trump has towards Muslims and wants to favor all those anti-Muslim force of the world,” he added.

The analyst went on to say the Muslim world should be united at the moment.

“Unfortunately the Muslim world is divided on many issues but Iran, Pakistan and Turkey can play a very important role in this regards,” he said.
