Ireland sympathizes with Iran on devastating quake

London, Nov 14, IRNA – Irish President Michael D. Higgins caballed a message on Tuesday to sympathize with the bereaved families of the victims and those injured in the fatal quake in west of Iran.

In the message which was delivered to Iran's embassy in Dublin, the Irish president said, 'I would like to extend my deepest sympathy with Iranian people along Iran-Iraq border regions mainly those who lost their beloved ones or those who were injured in the deadly quake.

The Irish president also expressed the hope that the affected people would win the support of the international community and institutes.

A Strong quake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale jolted western provinces of Kermanshah, Ilam and Kordestan on Sunday.

The latest death toll for the quake is 432 while 7,817 others have been injured.
