Armenian archbishop condoles with compatriots over quake

Isfahan, Nov 14, IRNA – Isfahan and South Iran's Armenian Archbishop Sipan Kechejian on Tuesday extended his condolences on the demise of a group of compatriots in the quake–stricken western provinces of Kermanshah and Ilam.

In a message, Archbishop Kechejian offered his condolences on the demise of people and sympathized with the bereaved families and wished prompt cure for the injured persons on the behalf of the Armenian community in Isfahan and south of Iran.

He prayed to Almighty God to keep away Iran from dangers and natural disasters.

A Strong quake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale jolted western provinces of Kermanshah, Ilam and Kordestan on Sunday.

The latest toll for quake is 432 dead and 7,817 injured.
