Trump's JCPOA decision not important for Europe

Tehran, Nov 12, IRNA – US withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal or its compliance with the accord is not important for Europe, an Italian official said.

'Iran deal is an important mission and we are a part of it', Giorgio Mercuri Head of the Italian Agricultural Cooperatives Alleanza Delle said commenting on the importance of preserving Iran nuclear deal known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) for European Union member states.

'We are after developing this important agreement and we tend to have extended relations with Iran,' he added.

'There are much potential for promoting ties between Iran and Italy,' he noted.

He went on to say that Italy has nothing to do with sanctions and the country will continue maintaining cooperation with Iran.

'Italy has always tried to keep its ties with Iran,' Delle said referring to presence of Italian representatives in Iran.

'I think JCPOA will have a good future,' he said elaborating on the prospects of Iran nuclear deal.
