Pakistani media widely covers Iran's Supreme Leader remarks

Islamabad, Oct 19, IRNA - Pakistani electronic and print media widely covered the remarks made on Wednesday by Iran's Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei who said Tehran would stick to the nuclear deal as long as other signatories respect it.

Leading English daily ‘Dawn’ reported the Iranian Leader has said that Tehran would stick to its 2015 nuclear accord with world powers as long as the other signatories respected it, but would shred the deal if Washington pulled out.

“I don’t want to waste my time on answering the rants and whoppers of the US president,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a speech to students in Tehran.

Another daily ‘The News’ in its headline said Iran's Leader dismisses Trump´s rants and whoppers.

'They are angry as today the Islamic republic of Iran has disrupted their plans in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq,' Ayatollah Khamenei said.
'Everyone be assured that this time, too, America will be slapped and defeated by the nation of Iran.'

Meanwhile, according to daily ‘Express Tribune,’ Iranian Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has said Iran would stick to its nuclear accord as the other signatories respected it.
“Trump’s stupidity should not distract us from America’s deceitfulness…If the U.S. tears up the deal, we will shred it,” he said.

Another Pakistani daily, ‘The Nation,’ reported that Iran’s Leader has dismissed US President Donald Trump’s aggressive criticism as “rants and whoppers” while vowing that Tehran would stick to its nuclear commitments.

“I don’t want to waste my time on answering the rants and whoppers of the brute US president,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a speech to students in Tehran, published on his Telegram channel.

Daily ‘Business Recorder’ said Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Khamenei dismissing US President Donald Trump’s aggressive criticism said that Tehran would stick to its nuclear commitments.

“They are angry as today the Islamic Republic of Iran has disrupted their plans in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq,” Business Recorder quoted Ayatollah Khamenei as saying.

“The US president displays stupidity, but this should not cause us to ignore America’s mischief,” he said.

‘Pakistan Today’ said that Iran´s Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has vowed that Tehran would stick to its nuclear commitments.

“Everyone be assured that this time, too, America will be slapped and defeated by the nation of Iran.” Ayatollah Khamenei said the world should not be fooled by Trump´s public persona.

Radio Pakistan reported that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Tehran would stick to the nuclear deal with world powers as long as the other signatories respect it.

Speaking in a meeting with a group of students in Tehran on Wednesday, he however said Iran would shred the deal if the United States pulls out of it.
