Speaker of Pakistan Balochistan Assembly underlines development of ties with Iran

Shiraz, Oct 12, IRNA – Speaker of Pakistan's Balochistan Assembly Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani in meeting with Governor General of Fars Province Esmaeil Tabadar on Thursday underlined development of bilateral relations with Iran.

She told the governor general that mutual cooperation between Balochistan and Fars provinces in the field of economic and academic should be paid attention to.

Durrani pointed to the capacities of Balochistan province, and said that these capacities will pave the way for mutual cooperation and added that this province has very rich mines.

She expressed pleasure for visiting Fars province, and said that she remembers that from her childhood she was interested to travel to Shiraz, city of great kings, poets.

Tabadar pointed to cultural and economic commonalties between Iran and Pakistan, and said that the two countries have consolidated relations.

He proposed to establish a working group to prepare the grounds for cooperation in the fields of science, technology, economic, tourism and trade between the two provinces.
