Iran's 2nd humanitarian aid consignment arrives in Bangladesh

Tehran, Sep 21, IRNA – Iran's second humanitarian aid consignment arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday afternoon.
The 30-ton consignment is for refugees Rohingya Muslims who fled to Bangladesh from Myanmar and it is included blanket, tent, food products, medicine and medical equipment.

It was supposed to be sent directly for Myanmar, but officials of Myanmar opposed it.

In delivering ceremony representatives of Iran's Red Crescent Society, a number of Bangladesh parliament deputies, representatives from Iran's embassy in Dhaka and Bangladesh Red Crescent society representatives were present.

Myanmar Army attacked Rohingya Muslim on August 25, 2017, which left at least 400 killed and around 125,000 Muslims fled to Bangladesh.
