Zarif to highlight Iran nuclear deal in CNN interview

Tehran, July 16, IRNA - Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is to attend an interview with Cable News Network (CNN) on Monday, Washington Post columnist and host of CNN's GPS in a message said.

In his twitter message released on Sunday, Fareed Zakaria said, “On GPS tomorrow at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET on CNN: An exclusive interview with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif to discuss Iran nuclear deal.”

According to Zakaria message, the interview will be about Iran nuclear deal also known a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Zarif arrived in New York on July 14 to participate in the United Nations' High-Level Political Forum 2017.

Zarif earlier said he would meet cultural figures, experts from think tanks and other institutes, and those influential in public opinion to explain to the international community the issues that have resulted in instability of the Middle East and have put the allied countries in front of each other.

He is also scheduled to address Council on Foreign Relations meeting on Monday.
