IRGC kills terrorist ringleader in southeastern Iran

Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Prov., June 19, IRNA -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps' Qods Headquarters in an operation killed Ansar ul-Forqan terrorist group ringleader Jalil Ghanbar Zehi, local officials declared.

Ali Asghar Mirshekari, deputy governor of Sistan and Balouchestan province told IRNA on Monday that the terrorist leader was killed in Qasr-e Qand heights in a joint operation of IRGC's Ground Force and Qod headquarters in recent days.

Ghanbar Zehi was a terrorist who was on Iran’s security forces blacklist for 25 years and has been behind several terrorist operations gainst Iran's military forces and people.

An informed source said on Sunday that the remaining forces of the terrorist group Ansar ul-Forqan hiding in Qasr-e Qand heights, southeastern Iran, were totally eliminated in the wake of continued operations by the IRGC.

IRGC's Qods Headquarters forces clashed with a number of terrorists in Chabahar last Wednesday, killing two terrorists and injuring five others.

After obtaining information that the Takfiri terrorists were hiding in Qasr-e Qand region, the IRGC forces raided their hideouts.
