IRGC’s missile attack, warning to Daesh, their supporters

Tehran, June 19, IRNA – A member of Assembly of Experts of the Leadership said on Monday that Iran’s stance about terrorism is clear and that IRGC’s missile attack on Daesh is a warning to them and their supporters.

Referring to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s remarks saying that Iran is present wherever there is resistance against arrogance, Ayatollah Abbas-Ali Soleimani said, “Iran’s presence in Syria is strong and undeniable.”

He added that Iran’s fighting Daesh is nothing new; Iran has been in war with Daesh for a long time.

The IRGC said in a statement on Sunday evening, “After the Takfiri terrorists’ June 7 attacks in Tehran which left 18 killed and dozens more wounded, the IRGC announced that it will never allow the spilling of innocent blood to go unanswered.'

During the operation, six surface to surface mid-range missiles targeted Takfiri terrorists in Syria from IRGC’s bases in Kermanshah and Kordestan provinces, western Iran.

“A large number of the terrorists are reported to be perished and their equipment and arms were destroyed.
