Slovenia sympathizes with Iran on recent flood casualties

Belgrade, April 21, IRNA – Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec in a message to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed sympathy over human repercussions of the recent floods in Iran in which tens of people lost their lives.

He also condoled the Iranian government and people on the sad occasion.

Torrential rains last week caused flash floods in various regions in four Iranian provinces. 42 people were confirmed missing, of whom bodies of 38 victims have been recovered by relief and rescue workers.
