Health minister: Iran exports 3 kinds of vaccines to Mexico

Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA – Minister of Health Hassan Hashemi said on Friday that Iran will be exporting three different kinds of vaccines to Mexico.

Hashemi made the remarks elaborating on the achievements of his recent visit to Mexico City.

He said that expansion of bilateral ties in the area of medical technology topped the agenda of his visit to Mexico.

“Iran’s trade interaction with Mexico neared zero due to Western sanctions on Tehran but now we are going to restore previous trade relations and renovate political relations which have been damaged over the past years,” the minister said.

He expressed hope that a future visit to Iran by the Mexican health minister and a number of university chancellors of the country will help bolster relations between the two countries.
