Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Morteza Bank told a group of officials in Damavand, a city northeast of Tehran, on Saturday that for the first ever after triumph of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has reached the point that value of non-oil exports exceeds imports.
Bank said that otherwise, fall in value of oil would have resulted in a big catastrophe in Iranian economy.
He said Iran’s current administration has the honor of creating 700,000 jobs a year within a period of three years.
