Indonesian Min. hails late Ayat. character

Kuala Lumpur, Jan 11, IRNA – Indonesian Minister of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and transmigration Eko Putro Sanjoyo called the late Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani as an 'admirable character.'

Sanjoyo wrote the statement in the memorial book opened in Iran's embassy in Jakarta for the late Ayatollah.
A memorial book has been open in Iran's embassy in Jakarta since Monday and Indonesian senior officials, Islamic organization members, private sector, ambassadors and foreign diplomats, have signed up the book.
Head of Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Minister of Youth and Sport, Deputy Foreign Minister, Deputy Minister for Coordination in Economic Affairs, Head of Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Organization, Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and African Affairs, top advisor for Vice-President have sent their condolences to Iran's embassy in Jakarta and expressed their sympathy with Iranian government and nation.
Ayatollah Rafsanjani died at the age of 82 on Sunday, January 8, due to cardiac arrest.
