Tehran-Ankara regional collaboration urged

Ankara, Dec 1, IRNA – Several Iranian and Turkish officials attended the Iran-Turkey round table discussions on modern Middle East here on Wednesday.

Organized by Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) in Ankara, the significant role of Iran and Turkey regional cooperation for handling the regional crises was highlighted inthe discussions.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Education and Research Kazem Sajjadpour and Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Mohammad-Ebrahim Taherian Fard as well as several senior diplomats from Turkey and Iran also were attending the meeting.

The participants of the gathering also underscored that expansion of Iran and Turkey cooperation would serve as a role model for other regional countries.
