Zarif begins four-nation tour to Africa

Tehran, July 24, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday left Tehran for Nigeria, which will be the first destination of Zarif's tour to west Africa.

A political and economic delegation are accompanying Zarif in his visits to Nigeria, Ghana, Conakry Guinea and Mali.

Iranian foreign minister is slated to deliver speeches in meetings with businessmen in these African countries.

The tour is the third of Zarif visits to Africa.

In his first African tour in 2014, Zarif visited Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Tanzania.

He traveled to Algeria and Tunisia in his second African tour in 2015.
