Fifteen wells have been completed so far and seven other wells of the project are nearly completed.
After three years of drilling, nearly 92,000 meters wells have been drilled in development project of Phases 20 and 21 of South Pars field.
Development of Phases 20 and 21 of South Pars gas field is among top priorities of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) whose operation both onshore and offshore is assigned to Oil Industries' Engineering and Construction (OIEC).
Once completed, the project will add a daily 50 million cubic meters of gas to South Pars output capacity.
NIOC has said that with the inauguration of Phases 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of South Pars gas field, nearly 100 million cubic meters will be added to the country's daily output.

Tehran, June 11, IRNA – Drilling operation of wells needed for Phases 20 and 21 of South Pars gas field have been completed and will go on stream soon, Petroleum Ministry reported on Saturday.
