Armenia proposes setting up Eurasia Free Zone with Iran

Moscow, March 30, IRNA – Armenia on Wednesday called for signing a contract to set up Free Trade Zone between Eurasian Economic Union and Iran.

Deputy Prime Minister and minister of International Economic Integration and Reform Vache Gabrielyan made the remarks in a press conference.
Gabrielyan told reporters that Armenia has proposed the issue.
Upon the proposal a working group has established in EAEU to work on the issue, the Armenian minister said.
He called for an inquiry to be launched by the five member countries to resolve the wide range problems to prevent such issues from leaving impacts on economic cooperation.
He said that the Armenian government takes heed of reciprocal impacts of the problems on international economic cooperation.
He said that the difficult process has begun.
