According to Iran’s Charge d’affaires to the Czech republic Ali Akbar Jokar, head of Czech Republic’s National Bank, the most senior bank official in the country has already voiced readiness to discuss issues of mutual interest with Iranian counterparts.
Talking to IRNA, he said a number of Czech banks are already in contact with some Iranian banks.
Jokar expressed happiness over the existence of a political will in both parties to boost economic and trade relations.
He said more active involvement of Iranian private sector in trade relations with the Czech Republic will help boost any obstacles on mutual trade and economy.
The diplomat said that the two countries could certainly cooperate in such areas as building power plants, boosting cooperation with Iran’s car manufacturing companies, textile, sugar and cement.
He pointed out that the two nations exchanged four major trade and economic delegations this year (to end March 20, 2015).
Iranian handicraft, dried fruits, pistachio, carpets and saffron are also attractive for people of the Republic, Jokar added.
