Zanganeh: No plans yet to increase gasoline price

Tehran, March 15, IRNA – Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh announced that the government has not decided yet for raising gasoline price.

The government will make due decision for the regular gasoline price for the next Iranian calendar year that will start on March 20, Zangeneh told IRNA.

Zangeneh said the ministry has proposed no price for gasoline for the next year.

Asked about the measure that would be taken by the Petroleum Ministry after increase in prices of oil and gasoline in the global markets, Zangeneh said no decision has been made for taking due measure.

Earlier, spokesman for the Government Mohammad Baqer Nobakht had announced that gasoline price will not likely witness any increase in Iran's new year.
