Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the First Economic Assembly of Iran and Germany, he added that removal of anti-Iran sanctions will create a chance for generating tens of thousands of jobs in Germany.
Given Iran's rich resources in the energy sector, German exports to the country can become fivefold to hit $10 billions euro in the coming years, he said.
Trier added that Iran was Germany's second most important economic partner outside Europe.
Lifting sanctions against Iran has created a chance for the German economy to have multi-billion-euro orders from the country, he said.
He also predicted that German exports to Iran will experience a two-digit growth in 2016.
