German writer Iris Radisch to promote her book in Tehran

Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA – German writer Iris Radisch will be attending the unveiling ceremony of a Persian translation of her book “Camus: Das Ideal der Einfachheit” (Camus, the Ideal Simplicity) to be held in Tehran on Thursday.

Published by Salis Publications in Tehran and translated into Persian by Mahshid Mirmoezi, the book reviews the biography of French author and philosopher Albert Camus (1913–1960).
The unveiling ceremony, which the translator plans to attend, will take place at the Salis Publications’ bookstore in collaboration with the German Embassy in Tehran on Thursday afternoon, Tehran Times reported on Tuesday.
However, on Thursday morning Iris Radisch is expected to meet with book readers interested in her works at Ayandeh Bookstore. Bokhara Persian Monthly Managing Director Ali Dehbashi also plans to attend.
The book is perhaps the best, definitely the most personal biography of the French writer and philosopher.
Artfully composed like a cubist picture and full of written empathy, this book by Iris Radisch outlines in splendid language the life story of the “philosopher of the absurd”.
