Iranian Majlis (Parliament) on Tuesday approved the bill on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with 161 votes in favor out of total 250 votes from the lawmakers who were present in Majlis's open session today. 59 voted against and there were 13 abstainees.
On October 11, Iranian parliament ratified the general outline of a single-urgency bill on the JCPOA.
On July 14, Iran and world's six major powers known as the Group 5+1 (US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany) concluded over a decade-long negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear activities which led to the signing of the (JCPOA).
