Larijani: Iran has strategic look at Muslim ummah

Tehran, Oct 12, IRNA – Majlis (Iranian parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani underlined that Iran has a strategic outlook to the Muslim Ummah.

'Iran's outlook to the Muslim Ummah is a strategic one and this is the cause of dignity of Muslims, but there are countries that are trying to create a rift between Iran and the Muslim countries,' Larijani said in a meeting with chief editors of important media of the Arab world. 'Iran was united with Israeol 36 years ago and it exported oil to that country, but after the victory of the Islamic Revolution the relations wit Israel fully came into a halt and Iran became uned with the Muslim countries,' Larijani added. He reiterated that Iran's outlook to the issues of Muslim world and the region is a strategic one in line with the dignity and capability of the Islamic Ummah, and said, 'Creating rift and differences among Muslims on the false pretext will help to the interests and dominance of the arrogant countries and the Zionist regime. 2050**2050
